As the daughter of Taiwanese immigrants, Ami Wang watched her family work tirelessly to pursue their dreams, inspiring her to forge her own path. Instead of taking a traditional college route, Ami chose to attend trade school and follow her passion for fine jewelry.

At the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Ami earned her Graduate Gemologist diploma and trained as a Bench Jeweler, developing expertise in diamonds, gemstones, jewelry design, and hand fabrication. Today, she works as a designer for a fine jewelry company in Downtown Los Angeles, where she brings creative concepts to life. One of her greatest joys is wearing pieces she has designed herself, and she hopes to one day launch her own jewelry brand.

Ami is also a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Women’s Jewelry Association, which is dedicated to supporting and advancing women in the jewelry industry. Through her journey, she hopes to inspire others to embrace creativity, pursue their passions with confidence, and recognize that success can be achieved by following a path that is uniquely their own.
